Such a wonderful find! Everything was amazing and it was so lovely to have some different menu choices from all the other restaurants around! Everything is made in house and vegetables from their garden! The best meal we have had in Serre Chevalier and my daughter said the chocolate fondant was the best dessert of her life! 😍 Thank you to everyone at La Marrotte for a 5* dining experience (photo of delicious tarte tatin x

This place is like a cozy home that surprises you with its unique twists. The food portions are huge and super creative, mixing flavors in ways that just make sense. They really nail the basics by using top-notch ingredients, some even from their own garden. The starters and desserts? They've got an enormous variety, all homemade and packed with love. And if you're into veggies, there are plenty of tasty options, even in the mains.

Hard to go there without a reservation, as almost everywhere nearby. In general it was a good experience, the staff was very polite, however I'd expected more from the food. The chicken with cinnamon flavor was tasty.

Our first dinner in Serre Chevalier. Small restaurant. Great menu. Super friendly chef and staff. Daughter had cough so they hooked us up with some camomile and honey lozenges. (Which we then got in the shop as they were so great!) I had no cash on me in the evening, but they very kindly allowed me to return with cash the next morning. It was an outstanding restaurant and we will most definitely be back when in Serre Chevalier next.

Service was 10/10 the food was interesting and delicious not to mention locally sourced (even sourced from the owners own garden) and to top it off the atmosphere was perfect! I literally have no complaints at all! Best restaurant I’ve ever been to!

The restaurant you want to go while in Serre Chevalier ! the food is delicious, fresh & local. The service is friendly and very efficient, a small room that gives a very warm atmosphere. Make sure to book in advance . We arrived at 7:30pm with 2 kids, it was the perfect timing. we were in the main room by the fireplace.

What a lovely place! We had a late reservation at 21:30, but it turns out this is one of the usual timeslots. The owner welcomes everyone and gives an overview of the menu. The food is delicious and abundant. The staff is friendly and hardworking. Definitely recommend!
